Yes. A selection of wallpapers in every collection is free to use with no sign-up. An optional one-time purchase unlocks every wallpaper in every collection, including future additions — there is no subscription and no recurring charge.
No. PastelFold has no login and no user accounts. If you make the one-time unlock purchase, it's tied to your Apple ID or Google account automatically, and restores if you reinstall the app or switch devices.
Open any wallpaper and tap Apply. PastelFold sets it directly as your Home screen, Lock screen, or both — no extra steps needed.
Apple doesn't allow any app to set the wallpaper directly. Tapping Apply on iPhone saves the image to your Photos app and shows quick instructions for setting it from there via Settings > Wallpaper > Add New Wallpaper.
New wallpapers are added to collections regularly. If you've unlocked everything, future additions to your unlocked collections are included at no extra cost.
Yes. Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. Since the purchase is tied to your Apple ID or Google account rather than a PastelFold account, it restores automatically on any device signed into the same account.
Wallpapers you've already viewed or favorited are cached on your device, so they remain available without a connection. Fetching new or not-yet-cached wallpapers requires an internet connection.
No. PastelFold has no backend server and doesn't ask for your name, email, or any personal information. It doesn't run ads or use third-party analytics. See the full Privacy Policy for details.
